This month brings powerful opportunities to take action—for the climate, for Reconciliation and for our shared future.
With the Federal Election tomorrow, we each play a vital role in building a fairer, more sustainable future. Your vote matters—let’s choose leaders who will deliver on climate action and a just transition for all.
We're also excited to highlight a major milestone: the launch of our 2030 Strategy on World Environment Day (5 June). We've set out our direction for the next five years, driving urgent, community-led climate action across the region. Save the date—we can’t wait to share it with you.
May also marks National Reconciliation Week. As we reflect on this year’s theme, Bridging Now to Next, we’re proud to be finalising our first Reconciliation Action Plan. We're committed to addressing the climate crisis in a way that honours the wisdom and leadership of the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We believe that true sustainability means not only protecting our environment, but also fostering strong, respectful relationships with First Nations communities—ensuring their voices are heard and cultures respected across our work.
And during National Volunteer Week (19–25 May), we extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible volunteers who power our projects, events, and impact. Your time, energy, and dedication make everything we do possible.
Read on to see how you can get involved, take action, and be part of this growing movement for a more just and sustainable future.
