Welcome to the Geelong Sustainability September Newsletter.
It’s hard to believe it is September already and we’re officially into Spring. We’re excited to have launched the Electric Homes Program at the end of August, with the program and more events continuing through this month. We’re also gearing up for Sustainable House Day. More details below.
It is also with mixed emotions that we announce the resignation of our CEO, Dan Cowdell. Dan has been actively involved with Geelong Sustainability for more than 11 years, starting as a volunteer. He has grown the organisation since becoming CEO into the impactful, reputable and successful not-for-profit it is today, championing sustainability and climate action. Dan will remain with Geelong Sustainability until a new CEO is appointed to ensure a seamless handover. Further details about the position are included below.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon. The Geelong Sustainability team | |
